Rod MacGillvray
A performer, teacher and conductor from Bridgewater, Nova Scotia, Rod began playing Euphonium at age 11. He later added bass trombone, tenor trombone, tuba, and piano to his repertoire. Rod earned a Bachelor of Music from Mount Allison University, a Masters degree from Temple University, and a DMA in trombone performance from Ohio State University. He also studied Wind Conducting at the University of Alabama. Rod was awarded the Conservatory Prize for Brass Performance at Mt.
